Each month, Hailsham Chamber of Commerce shines a spotlight on an incredible local charity making a real difference in our community — and this month we’re proud to support Hailsham Active!
What they do
Hailsham Active is a community interest company dedicated to improving sport, health, and community life across Hailsham and the surrounding area.
They work tirelessly to support local sports clubs and organisations, develop facilities, and create opportunities for people of all ages to get active and lead healthier lives.
From influencing the development of walking and cycling pathways, multi-use games areas, sports pitches, and pavilions to offering a ‘Quick Win’ funding scheme — Hailsham Active helps bring local sporting ideas to life by securing funding and support for community groups.
Hailsham Active even help clubs submit grant applications free of charge to access vital funding for equipment, coaching, and inclusive activity sessions.
Why it matters
Whether it’s supporting grassroots clubs, enhancing local facilities, or encouraging people to enjoy physical activity for better physical and mental wellbeing, Hailsham Active is helping make Hailsham a healthier, happier, and more connected place to live.
