Halisham & District Chamber of Commerce Membership enables you to; network with local organisations and other Chamber members, grow contacts and develop mutually rewarding friendships.
Through our regular meetings, Hailsham Chamber discusses key issues and concerns and decide on supportive action. We occasionally have guest speakers in attendance and maintain strong links with Wealden District Council, Hailsham Town Council, Hailsham Forward, Hailsham Community Safety Action Group and the Hailsham Town Council Youth Project.
We are also currently working on our Business Improvement District (BID) scheme. Hailsham and District BID will enable businesses in the BID area to become Zero-Carbon, environmentally aware, and compliant. In addition, the BID will help companies to become more efficient and profitable.

Joining the Hailsham & District Chamber of Commerce was among my best decisions! As a member for over seven years now, I’m proud to be part of a thriving networking community that’s more than just business-focused. It’s allowed me to connect with like-minded individuals and support each other’s endeavours. Additionally, our Chamber also advocates for issues that matter to our community.
I joined the Chamber in 2019, relatively early into my career and time at Stevens and Carter Estate Agents. I didn’t know what to expect but found myself amongst similarly minded, striving business personalities and soon felt a part of a community. Chamber membership has helped build connections through networking in and around Hailsham and has led to increased opportunities both professionally and personally.
Over the past few years I have attended a large number of networking events, and I can say hand on heart that Hailsham Chamber has been the most welcoming and enjoyable of them all. The meetings & events really do foster a spirit of community and I have met some really lovely people. Chamber has also helped my confidence and expended my network.
