Hailsham Chamber of Commerce Raises Over £4,000 at First Annual Charity Golf Day
The Hailsham Chamber of Commerce celebrated a successful first annual Charity Golf Day at Wellshurst Golf & Country Club, with businesses and local professionals coming together for a day of competition, networking and fundraising.
The event raised more than £4,000 for the Chamber’s chosen charities, with players enjoying a fantastic day on the course while supporting important local causes.

Taking the top spot with an impressive 60 points was the CTEC team, made up of Alex, Neil, Ciaran and Jack. The Bree Preston team secured second place, while the Design Lab team finished third overall.
Individual competitions throughout the day also saw some standout performances. Closest to the Pin winners were Dave Terry on the 5th hole, Stephen Hiller on the 9th, Andrew Fenner on the 12th and Edward Pitt on the 18th. Ben Parker claimed the prize for Longest Drive.
Organisers thanked everyone who took part, sponsored the event and supported the day, helping to make the inaugural tournament such a success.
Following the strong turnout and fundraising achievement, plans are already being discussed for next year’s event, with hopes of making it even bigger and better.
